Frustrated....

Everyone is home today....the TV blaring despite my attempts to have it off - kids chased flies for about 15 mins, now the TV is back on - damn you Nickelodeon !

Kids keep asking for stuff.....they have so much stuff in their rooms to play with, I dont get it (actually I do - they want me to play with them) Why don't I want to?

Might have to turn cleaning up their rooms into a 'game' I can play with them - and disable the bloody Foxtel! (which was actually my saviour during the holidays so I should stop whinging)

Had a lovely night last night - no work - always a good situation on a Friday night (normally dont get home until after 2am when I do work!)

23yo stepson came over and we chatted, ate and played games with the kids...

Had another "Spoooky" moment yesterday - that is 3 days in a row - turned on car radio to hear natural medicine guy discussing a foot complaint hubby had seen the doc about the previous day - recommended muscle relaxant type drugs - so passed this info onto hubby.,..

Good day yesterday too - slipped into lakeside pub for a quick 'free' cuppa - ended up winning a $65 jackpot, then $10 on the one next door (Mind you then lost a bit of it on that stupide Indian Dreaming machine! - I dont know why I perservere with that one)

Anyway stayed on to have lunch there - still trying to upload photos from my phone - a job in itself I can tell you. Then did the shopping - at Woolies - without my Flybuys card - to support the Farmers.....that was what I went there for....oopsie.... anyway the shopping trip had a lovely twist (until I reversed into a shopping trolley - lucky for the tow bar is all I can say)

Back to finding the photos on the 'wonder phone' be back later......cheers....

I have no kids home today...There should be one though, I slept in until 9:30 and he must have sneaked out the door...God knows where he is????....

Went to the pokies ourselves the other day....I love Indian dreamer myself and have won big on there a few times but this time I tried Adonnis....Won $112 dollars...How rapt was I....lol....
Must keep away from them though....

So today it`s a clean up day for me, I should be doing somemore washing but I`m struggling to get motivated today....

Foxtel means Sports Channel in our house, unless I have it on the Sci Fi channel, or worse (Lost in Space every arvo at 4pm...)

Kim, a good "Zone Out" ritual is to get a tall, frosty glass, pour in some ice, then a suitable clear spirit (lots) with an exotic juice on top. Straw optional.

I got one of theose new fangled internet phones, which keeps telling me to upload my photos for free. It's doing my head in.

Courtesy Telstra of course.

When I was younger probably your age I often had spooky moments now I have senior moments and they are pretty spooky and frustrating too.
Take Cindy's advice re drink....

Hope the house has quietened down by now. Enjoy that remedy suggested by Cindy!

The TV loses its appeal if you reduce the volume. See if you can enforce that the kids can only have it on a certain volume? If it's quiet enough they often end up seeking out another activity. It works for adults too. Try it. It is not as interesting to watch a show you can only just hear!

Good morning ! :)
You did well on pokies, so did you mandy ! wohooo !
I never win on any of them, don't think I have the midas touch LOL
As I said before in my blog to you, you sure seem to be experiencing a lot of spooky moments lately! eeek!
Yeah I'm not big on watching television, and we don't have any children, so it's not much of an issue here, altho hubby likes it on in the background at nights while we are on the net .
Hopefully you have a relaxing day today, and there's not too much commotion going on in your house!:)

ps... I hope your husband's foot condition sorts itself out. Maybe he will find something helpful for it from that info you heard on the radio from that natural medicine guy !
